1. Install pip in osx brew install python ( names things like python2 or pip2 or python3 or pip3 ) so that it doesn’t intefere with the system things

2. pip3 install awscli --upgrade --user Upgrade for any dependencies and in the user directory so that the system python is not impacted

3. AWSCLI crash course

brew install awscli

Add it to path if not already

aws --version

aws configure ; Put in the following

• Access key ID
• Secret Key ID
• Default Region Name
• Default Output format
